( things don't feel awkward to luffy, not exactly. there's an awareness of how precarious it could be, that if this somehow went awfully wrong it could have some serious repercussions. but as luffy wonders how wrong it could go there's nothing but a blank. this is sanji, if things go awry luffy has no doubt they can laugh it off and continue as normal.
which is why as fingers trail along his jawline luffy can't help but hold his breath. all this from a misfired text brought on by an overactive imagination over sanji and how firmly his pants fit. )

[ luffy did tell him when they met that he doesn't do regrets, which makes this all a bit more relieving, to know that whatever choices are being made here, they really are just going for it without looking back. he's not even entirely sure he's thinking it all through as much as he should, for all that he does try to consider everything when he does everything (well, most things), but the fact that it's luffy — it'd been impossible not to place his trust in him wholeheartedly when meeting him, and now with all that comes after, he'll continue to do the same.
sanji smiles again, a bit more easier too, with the way luffy's hands upon his shoulders relaxes him further. ]

( the trust is there for luffy, unreservedly. some could argue that not knowing each other for very long would be enough cause for concern, but luffy understands on a base level that sanji is worth every second of his attention, even without food being involved.

Help me take my clothes off? [ he whispers against his lips, already reaching for the front of luffy's shorts to start working at getting them off too. ]
