( Luffy could explain how being a marine was Koby's dream, and that there had been a discussion and some not so gentle encouragement to go grab that dream to the point of dropping the other off at a marine base. But it doesn't feel right sharing that and Luffy just grins at his phone instead. )

yeah it's a problem back home, one day people will figure out that there's good and bad on both sides.
of course! straw hat pirates. my ship she's called the going merry. i have the best navigator, one of the strongest swordsmen, the most accurate sniper and an amazing chef who could stop wars with his food.

sometimes they feed me before they send me out, but it's normally what they're serving for dinner.

No, not imagining at all. I can't recall how I got there or how far I got when I left, just that I would wake up.
